چکیده
Phlomis tuberosa L. (Lamiaceae) is a flowering perennial plant, native to Eurasia, and sparsely distributed in Bulgaria. The species has been proved accumulate flavonoids, iridoids, phenolic glycosides, as well essential oil. To now, there no information on the chemical content of Bulgarian oil from plant. aim was study composition oils, obtained species. Four different samples were studied – oils produced leaves herbs, collected fields, parts, harvested mountainous location. It found that β -copaene major both parts Popitza. In addition, other constituent leaf Kladnitza tau -muurolol. oil, species, higher altitude had phytol main component. sesquiterpenoid suggests this plant substance appropriate for medicinal use, due pharmacological properties these compounds.

Antimicrobial Activity of the Essential Oil of Phlomis Bracteosa
The essential oil was isolated from the aerial parts of Phlomis bracteosa Royle ex Benth., a hairy erect herb. The leaves and flowers of this species are used as carminative, stimulant and locally known as ‘Ballikotu, Calba, Salba’ in Turkish traditional medicine. The antimicrobial activity of Phlomis bracteosa was studied using well diffusion method. The activity was tested against human patho...
متن کاملIridoid glucosides from Phlomis tuberosa L. and Phlomis herba-ventis L.
A new iridoid glucoside, 5-desoxysesamoside, was isolated from Phlomis tuberosa L. (Lamiaceae) together with three known iridoid glucosides sesamoside, shanziside methyl ester and lamalbid. Lamiide was found in P. herba-ventis ssp. pungens in high concentrations.
متن کاملIridoid and phenylethanoid glycosides from Phlomis tuberosa L.
A new iridoid glucoside, 8-O-acetylshanzhiside (1), was isolated from the aerial parts of Phlomis tuberosa, together with two known iridoid glucosides, shanzhiside methyl ester and lamalbide. The known phenylethanoid glycosides acteoside and forsythoside B were also obtained and characterized. The structure of 1 was determined by means of 1D- and 2D-NMR spectroscopic evidence.

The chemical composition of the essential oils obtained by hydrodistillation of roots, stems with leaves and inflorescences of Valeriana italica Lam. and Valeriana tuberosa L. were studied by GC/MS. Seventy-three and forty-one constituents were identified from each plant, respectively. The major constituent of the oil obtained from the roots of V. italica was isolated and identified as 15-aceto...
متن کاملCopper-stress tolerance induced in Phlomis tuberosa depends on nitric oxide accumulation
In this study, we compared the impact of high Cu concentrations on the photosynthetic apparatus and antioxidant capacity of the Phlomis tuberosa. Plants were grown in perlite culture for 5 weeks, and then treated with 0, 100, 200, 300 and 400 µM Cu for 21 days. Results indicated that Phlomis tuberosa plants showed tolerance to 100 and 200 µM Cu. This increased tolerance was achieved through enh...
